REGISTERED BEHAVIOR TECHNICIAN
Responsibilities:
- Implement individualized treatment plans for clients under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
- Provide direct one-on-one therapy to clients using Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) techniques
- Collect and record data on client progress and behavior
- Assist with behavior assessments and functional behavior assessments
- Collaborate with the treatment team to develop and modify treatment plans under BCBA supervision
- Complete session notes
- Communicate and collaborate with parents, caregivers, and other professionals involved in the client's care
- Maintain a safe and supportive environment for clients
Experience:
- Experience working in the field of ABA therapy is preferred
- Experience/interest/passion for working with children with Autism is preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Familiarity with Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles and techniques (preferred)
- Experience implementing behavior intervention plans and strategies
- Knowledge of data collection methods and ability to accurately record data
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism
BOARD CERTIFIED BEHAVIOR ANALYST
Responsibilities:
- Support clients in homes or clinics across the Triangle region (Durham, Chapel Hill, Mebane, Apex, Morrisville, Cary)
- Conduct behavioral assessments and diagnostic evaluations to identify client needs
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized ABA-based treatment plans
- Collect and analyze data to track progress and adjust interventions as needed
- Train and support families and caregivers in behavioral strategies
- Provide behavioral skills training and data-based performance feedback for RBTs and Behavior Technicians
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive client care
- Maintain accurate, HIPAA-compliant clinical documentation
- Stay current with best practices in behavioral health and ABA
- Complete supervision CEUs per BACB recertification standards
- Maintain session and supervision notes, program materials, and insurance documentation
- Participate actively in team meetings, trainings, and mentorship sessions
- Perform additional duties as needed to support organizational goals
Experience:
- Minimum of a master's degree in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA)
- Board Certified Behavioral Analyst (BCBA or BCBA-D) certification
- Must be in good standing with the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB)
- Experience working with children, particularly those with autism or developmental disabilities.
- Proficiency in data collection methods relevant to behavioral therapy.
- Familiarity with client assessment techniques and medical documentation processes.
- Strong understanding of HIPAA regulations and the importance of confidentiality in patient care.
