What is ABA?
Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) is a discipline that helps you understand the science of behavior and empowers you to help individuals on a behavior change journey. We predominantly serve children and teens with a diagnosis of Autism and help them reach their full potential. ABA techniques boost social, communication, and adaptive learning skills, such as fine motor skills, hygiene, grooming, and other daily and independent living skills.

Responsibilities:
- Implement individualized treatment plans for clients under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
- Provide direct one-on-one therapy to clients using Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) techniques
- Collect and record data on client progress and behavior
- Assist with behavior assessments and functional behavior assessments
- Collaborate with the treatment team to develop and modify treatment plans under BCBA supervision
- Complete session notes
- Communicate and collaborate with parents, caregivers, and other professionals involved in the client's care
- Maintain a safe and supportive environment for clients
Experience:
- Experience working in the field of ABA therapy is preferred
- Experience/interest/passion for working with children with Autism is preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Familiarity with Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles and techniques (preferred)
- Experience implementing behavior intervention plans and strategies
- Knowledge of data collection methods and ability to accurately record data
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism
